Well, here we are again. I don't have any idea why YOU are here again. Seriously, find something better to do with your time. Kidding of course, very glad you're here.
Here's the thing, we actually have much better things to do than this podcast and this website. Collectively we are much more employed, busy, and generally responsible for the well-being of other humans than we were when we started this garbage. But the reality is, that was kind of the problem.
Life got the best of The Crossover. We didn't make time to record podcasts, write blog posts, and make content for our adoring fans. Not that anyone really missed us, nor did we miss the attention, except Hayston, of course. The thing is though when we made less of the pod, we talked less to one another. And we all got real busy real quick and it forced us to all put one another on the back burner.
We missed each other, missed goofing off, and Hayston, of course, missed hearing the sound of his own voice. So in order to correct all of those things, we decided that like the unrelenting Brett Favre, we were coming out of retirement. Truly, we intend to give it an honest go this time.
So here's what you're going to be hearing from us. We will be recording a podcast every other week. We're going to keep it fairly short (30-40 minutes) and there will be very little analysis and a whole lot of goofiness. You can also expect to hear from us here on our website. We are also excited to announce that for the first time we are going to have some new contributors to The Crossover network here on this blog.
We're glad you're here. Thanks for being apart of our little family. We're going to have a good time like usual and really the only thing we could possibly offer to you is some joy. This is our second time coming out of retirement, and like Brett Favre, I'm sure this attempt will end with 11 touchdowns, 19 interceptions, and a serious concussion.
